Meet Gavin Fleten, Marketer Extraordinaire!

GavinFletenI love having this website where I can bring you more of the passionate community servants that I’m proud to call Kronda supporters. Meet my friend Gavin, a rock-solid business leader and volunteer. ~ Kronda

Gavin A. Fleten

has been a resident of Highland Village since 2001, by way of Scotland, his birthplace. (Don’t worry, he is a naturalized U.S. citizen and voter!) Gavin is active as an Ambassador for both Lewisville and Flower Mound Chambers of Commerce, plus makes time to serve as the VP of Events, Sponsorship & Membership for Argyle Chamber of Commerce. Those alone would be enough for most, but Gavin is also a staunch active advocate for both local and international non-profits—not just an active Rotarian but recently back from a mission trip to Guatemala, and Meals on Wheels volunteer.

Gavin is a true entrepreneur, founding Optimized Local Search with partner Paul Dumas over 5 years ago. Before that, Gavin supplied the specialist retail market both at home and worldwide with clients that included Disney, Universal Studios, Warner Bros. and other names you would know. He enjoys a close circle of friends and a great network of business and service relationships, all bolstered by his tireless commitment to community. I am thrilled to call Gavin my friend and have his support.

“Kronda has a ‘Practising Servants Heart’ that means she not only cares and is passionate about education, its application and relevance but also that she is a ‘do-er’ – not afraid to roll up her sleeves and see things through to their successful conclusion.

Her business is run on some pretty straight-forward rules; Morals, Ethics and Values will never be compromised for the sake of earning a dollar. I believe she will remind and instill where needed these same values and methods of operation into the local education system.

Kronda firmly believes in doing things for the right reason—and when it comes to the children of LISD, the right reason will be improving their education and future.”
